Hi All,
New to the forum / QMX world so please go easy :-)
I have taken on an existing client environment where the client has already deployed QMX framework (4.0.4.37) with numerous ConfigMgr extentsions installed. The SCCM 2007 hierachy is tiered around network zones with multiple child primaries reporting back to a central primary. Most of the QMX data is flowing through AOK.
In the environment there are internal and external DMZ network zones with a Child Primary SCCM server in the internal DMZ and a secondary site server in the external DMZ. QMX Base Framework and the required extensions are installed on both SCCM servers.
Non-Windows data is flowing AOK from the internal DMZ but not from the external DMZ.
When I run diags on a host in the external DMZ via the QMX Admin Console the error as below is recieved.
Call to MAPI_RegisterISVProxyToSCCM did not return the SMS GUID for the ISV Proxy. Please check that you have imported an ISV Proxy Certificate into ConfigMgr
From the Config Mgr console I can see that the GUID on the Primary ISV cert is identical to the Secondary ISV cert, but the key values on the certs in the personal cert store on each server are (logically) different.
I am assuming that I need to remove the primary SCCM site eXc Software cert currently registered in the secondary site and then register the secondary site eXc Software cert against the secondary site node.
Obviously I may have this completely upside down so wanted to confirm with the community;
a) that this configuration (framework running simultaneously on a secondary and primary in the same site) is supported.
b) best practice process on certificate registration for this configuration.
Regards
Josh
